I wonder what that button actually does, it says it assists with being a more eco-minded driver, somehow.

I think it releases a special chemical compound that makes you calm and relaxed without falling asleep. That way you don't accelerate hard or follow people too close, which causes extra breaking and re-acceleration.

I guessing it's a Caravan?

From reading, it changes the shifting points in the van's case to get another 1-2 MPG, but it is not clear exactly.

Yeah it was. Every year the guys go camping, and since the crapalier is so small and noone has a truck we usually rent a Mom van.
